30th Anniversary Great Hawaiian Rubber Duckie Race

They're cute, always smiling, an official member of the Toy Hall of Fame, have their own bathtub song, and 20,000 have raced each year for 29 years in Hawaii, in an effort to raise funds for those with cerebral palsy and other disabilities ... it's the Rubber Duckies!

20,000 Rubber Duckies will take their 30th dive into the Ala Wai Canal to race for great prizes, and help raise funds for those with disabilities in Hawaii.  United Cerebral Palsy Association of Hawaii will be hosting its 30th Anniversary Great Hawaiian Rubber Duckie Race on Saturday, March 18th.  The race starts at 1:01 p.m., from the Kalakaua Ave. Bridge, into the Ala Wai Canal.  The duckies will race 50-yd. down course to the finish line. 

Top prize this year is a Trip for Two to Disneyland - Home of the Original Duck (Donald). Pre-race activities to include entertainment, games and great duck store items, at the McCully Shopping Center, from 9am-12:30pm.
